Web development agencies write the code that makes a site or application work. • Who owns the code when the project is done, and will it live in a repository I can access?
• What does ongoing maintenance cost, and what is your response time when something breaks?
• What technology stack will you use, and could another local firm take it over if we part ways?
• How do you handle testing before launch, and is there a warranty period for defects?
